At the beginning of the year, we spend lots of time learning about math manipulatives. They will be using these tools throughout the year during our math workshop and math centers. The students learned how to use these, what they were called and were able to explore with them at their tables. They were introduced to color tiles, pattern blocks, attribute links, and snap cubes. The kids absolutely LOVED this. Here are some pics of the kids building with the manipulatives at their tables. I am very impressed with their creativeness and how they used their imaginations. Smart kiddos!!
