Grandparent's Day!

Well..it is that time of year. Grandparents Week at Don Roberts Elementary! Today was Kindergarten Grandparent's Day and man, did we have fun?! The grandparents enjoyed a snack and refreshment in the Kindergarten flex space, then joined in the classroom for a song, class tour, and reading time with their grandchild. We also made them a special craft to take home too (which they loved)! Oh and did I mention, they got to visit the bookfair too?! And a sweet grandparent bought my favorite book and left it on my desk this morning. Ahhh! We had such a good day and the kids really had fun seeing their grandparents and/or special friends.
